CAPT was contacted by a family in Council Bluffs, IA regarding activity in the
yard area of their property. The homeowners also came up with a brilliant idea of using this investigation as a training session
for our new investigators, CAPT used this chance to field train our new members.
The team arrived at the site at 1400 hours
for a dig that was set up. We were told of artifacts from the first settlers and of Native American's could be found and
was given permission to dig for these items. The team only found an older pillbox and nothing else much was found.
During the dig, CAPT spent time speaking to the homeowners about activity claimed in the area. The
following claims were made:
Shadow
figures
Apparitions
Feeling watched
Noises
CAPT
spent four hours conducting the dig and then set up the equipment not already in place for the investigation. The team then
sat and got ready for the investigation to start.
CAPT split into two
groups again to cover the large yard area. The far back boundary met up against one of Council Bluffs's cemeteries and
the land in the far back of the property is mostly trees and such. The team spent time with EVP sessions keeping in mind contamination
from the outside factors and insects.
Most of the team had personal experiences while at the site.
These included feeling sick, throwing up, seeing shadow figures moving around at the rear of the property, being shoved, and
having marks left on them. A peace offering of loose tobacco was made to calm the entities on the property and wrapped up
the investigation at 0500 hours the next morning.
