CAPT was contacted by another family in Preston, IA with claims of paranormal
activity in the home. CAPT contacted the homeowners about these claims and set an investigation time and date. The family
had the following claims:
The family made it known that no one was ever hurt or is really scared of the suspected entity, they just wanted answers of who or what it might be as they had a suspicion of who it was in the home. CAPT arrived on location and met with homeowners. We were given a walk through of the home and then sat with the clients and further discussed the case. After a few more questions, CAPT located the Pre-determined places and set up equipment. This was another unique investigation for CAPT, as this was the second dual investigation the team has done, and a good job the team did. A prior client asked that we come and follow-up with their case while we were in town. CAPT agreed to do this as the team is large enough now to cover two places at the same time without sacrificing investigation quality. CAPT had two teams going and both in the basement to start since this is where the majority of activity was claimed to be. Heavy EVP sessions were conducted there and then the other team went to the main floor of the home for EVP and photo sessions. CAPT had a special guest during this investigation; Gina, who was along to gather first hand experience of actual paranormal investigations for a book she was writing about the subject. Gina had NO idea she would experience what she did while with the team, and at the end of the investigation we asked what she thought of the experience, she replied by asking to join the team full time. That request was happily granted for her. Many personal experiences were had by many of the investigators which will be listed below by individual. The team then took half of the investigators and went to the other client's home. The team; along with the other homeowners, arrived to conduct the follow-up. EVP and photo sessions were done and after a period of time, the team returned to the other site. The investigation was concluded at 0500 hours and the team returned home for evidence review. Personal Experiences by Investigator Paul: Felt many unexplained cold spots in the basement of the new investigation site. He also had his hair touched in the same location. Amanda: Felt tingles and cold spots near a couch in the new investigation site while in the basement. Tina: Conveyed seeing two faces at the follow-up investigation site and being touched by those two entities. Gina: She had many personal experiences in both locations. In the follow-up investigation site she was grabbed on the left shoulder leaving marks which were documented. She felt cold spots and was shoved off a chair in the follow-up investigation site in the dining room. She had her forearm grabbed leaving a bruise and this was documented as well. In the new investigation site she felt cold spots, was sitting on the couch in the basement and felt sick enough to have to leave for a while and touched. the new site's basement and started to feel sick. I took these pictures all in a row with no time inbetween them, and
this is how they turned out.
