CAPT was contacted by a customer of a local Des Moines business about paranormal
activity within their apartment. The renters contacted CAPT and informed us of their situation, we set up an investigation
date and left for the client's residence.
CAPT arrived in Windsor Heights which is a suburb of Des Moines, IA to the client's apartment complex. We gathered our equipment and conducted a short interview with the residents. A short walk through was conducted and equipment placed. The investigation began at approx. 2030 hours with the following claims of activity: (1) Feeling of Oppression (2) Mood Changes (3) The Presence of an Older Man (4) The Presence of a Young Girl (5) Voices (6) Footsteps (7) Knocks on the Walls and Windows. After setting up equipment, CAPT advised the occupants to “act normally” and that we are going to take photos and audio recordings while they did this. The team stayed out of the way while the occupants conducted business as normal and when a few friends showed, CAPT interviewed them as well. The friends knew of the situation and had the same story as the renters as far as seeing, feeling, and hearing the entity in the apartment. The apartment was small so EMF sweeps revealed no issue and EVP sessions were conducted. The evidence captured is listed below and the investigation concluded at approx. 0200 hours.
