CAPT conducted another training investigation at this reported haunted cemetery in Union Township south of Coon Rapids Iowa. The story is that on a full moon from the gate to the cemetery a headstone will glow and that noises are heard from inside the grounds of the site. CAPT felt this was another good place to conduct another training investigation with our newer members and set out to conduct just that.

The team met at the site around 2100 hours and set out to do minimal EVP work due to winds being light and variable that night meaning that the recordings would most likely be corrupted with wind. Many pictures were taken and a growl was heard from inside the cemetery but was found to be from an animal inside the many corn fields that surround this site. We did get lucky and have 90% moon that night with no clouds giving us the chance to see the “glowing” headstone. This was proven to be in the right place at the right time thing with the polished marble reflecting the moon off the surface of the headstone so nothing paranormal there to report.

This was a good training exercise for the new members with no paranormal activity to bring to light.
