CAPT was called by a family in Coon Rapids Iowa to investigate a home CAPT has
investigated once before while the home was empty. The homes resident was having very bad feelings in the upstairs area and
was also hearing noises and footsteps. The family dog would not go upstairs and needed prompting to do so with anyone going
upstairs. CAPT was informed children were involved children and that the children did not want to sleep in the rooms they
had in the home. CAPT immediately set a date to conduct this investigation because children gave the investigation priority.
CAPT members met at the investigation site at approx. 2000 hours
and talked with the resident about the claims. Members decided a front on approach was best for the situation and started
the investigation at approx. 2045 hours and set up equipment to cover the upstairs area.
CAPT set the team up in the upstairs to conduce EVP sessions in the kids rooms to determine
if there was validity to the claims stated. Members split into two groups between the two rooms and conducted intense EVP
sessions in each place to collect what evidence was present to collect, if any.
Not much in the way of evidence was collected for this site, but
one EVP was captured. This EVP can not be used since another child was in the home and was crying at the time this EVP was
caught causing concern for corruption of the findings. Since this causes concern it can not be published or used as evidence
in this case and has to be tossed out. This case remains open pending further call backs from the client.
