The following
are CAPT's definitions for final case determinations and color codes. CAPT has 3 different ways to "tag" a case
and the color code and explanations are below.
Not active, no evidence present at time of investigation:
This is pretty much self explanatory.
When CAPT preforms an investigation and is unable to obtain specific or random evidence through video, photo, or EVP captures
then the case is determined under this definition. These determinations will appear as GREEN
listings
Active:
Active: Random EVP, photo, or video evidence suggesting paranormal activity without said evidence
being directly validated to the specific claims of activity. The activity captured is random and erratic at best and is unexplainable
by natural means. Very Active: Again as stated above random EVP, photo, or video captures not directly related to the claims of activity
but are still unexplainable by natural means. The random evidence is more frequent and not erratic in nature. These cases
are listed with YELLOW listings.
Haunted: This is a semi-rare determination
and CAPT has a strict set of guidelines we use before giving a site this determination. Guidelines are as follows:
1) ALL events captured on photo, EVP, or video MUST be unexplainable
WITHOUT suspicion. 2) The events caught can not be random or erratic in nature and must follow a question--direct
answer or specific answer format. 3) ALL events captured must be DIRECTLY not indirectly related to the claims of activity. ALL others shall fall under the active or
very active category. 4) CAPT members must after evidence review ALL agree that the case has the elements to fit the determination. ALL others shall again fall
under the active or very active category. 5) These are listed with RED
listings.
