CAPT was called by an individual in Lovilla about possible paranormal activity in the home. Research revealed the home was re-built in 1975 after the original home was torn down with that home's build date unavailable but it was known to be a dwelling the entire time. The main claim of activity is a family member who continues to enter and exit a “shop” this member had in the basement. Some other claims include being touched in the bedroom and seeing the family member lying in the bathroom where the family member pass away at. Feelings of dread and being watched have been reported from the basement where the adult family members will not enter alone anymore, the children thankfully have not been effected by this or show no signs of effects from the claimed activity. CAPT members met at Lisa's home this time for the investigation due to the home being not to far from her. The team met at approx. 2000 and developed a plan for the investigation. The plan was devised in short order due to the limited places in the home where activity is said to be taking place. These places in the home was the bathroom, bedroom, and basement. CAPT arrived at the client's home at approx. 2100 and conducted a walk through of the home to gain a feeling for the place and familiarity of the site. Equipment was placed in the main areas of claimed activity and the investigation started at approx. 2145. The team started in the basement with the hand held video and voice recorders. The T.V. In the basement is said to turn on and off on its own and Chris went to see if this could be re-created. Chris pushed the power button and the T.V. Did not turn on. He pushed the button again and the T.V. Did nothing. He pushed the power button a third time and the T.V> clicked and turned on a few seconds later. Nothing else happened with the T.V. which leads one to think that the real problem in internal and electrical. After many hours of investigating both the up and down stairs nothing was captured on video, audio, or photo. CAPT left at approx. 0300 with the promise to return if needed. CASE STATUS: Closed pending a return call CASE DETERMINATION: unactive at time of investigation...no paranormal activity noted. |
