CAPT once again investigated
the home we started earlier the same month. To re-cap what started the investigation a call was received by one of our Co-Founders
while over visiting a call. The resident of the home had heard an audible voice say “hey you”, and also felt watched
and very uneasy. This time the resident reported that she was shoved by something unseen into her husbands lap in the living
room this made her very scared and CAPT could sympathize and understand her feeling over this act.
We found a little more history of
the home from the owner and was told that they had a hard time getting anyone to live in the home for more than 6 months at
a time and that the individual who committed suicide had been the only one to stay for a long period of time, that being 11
years. He did this in the basement directly over the downstairs living room area. Again the home was built in 1900 and has
been a dwelling the entire time.
CAPT met at our Founder's home to
discuss the investigation and to gather equipment to be used. The meeting was at 2100 and all members were present. The focus
of this investigation was again the kitchen and bathroom but also included the room the individual committed suicide in which
was in the basement. The plan after learning that physical touching has come into play was one of caution and non-provoking
question session.
The investigation started at the
home at approx. 2200 and equipment was set-up to include the new remote IR cameras and DVR recorder system CAPT just acquired.
The team was split into 2 parts with Jim and Ann in the basement to start and Chris and Lisa on the main floor. Approx 15
minutes into the investigation Jim called on the radio and stated that Ann was having problems in the basement. At this time
Chris and Lisa headed for the basement and was met by Jim and Ann in the kitchen, Ann was very emotional. Ann stated that
she just couldn't be there in the basement with events in her life at the time, it was to hard for her. The decision was made
to take Ann home and continue the investigation without her. Ann had a cross on a neck chain when she was dropped off that
was no longer on the chain. Chris physically took the chain off Ann's neck and the cross was gone. Ann said she held the cross
and said a little prayer as she entered the home and that it was there when she did that. After returning to the home, Chris
had the team look for the cross, no cross was found, though it could be in the snow it is still missing.
The investigation then went into
the basement and Lisa started to feel uneasy but continued to do the job. No member stated that they were touched but did
feel watched and the air felt heavy. The general mood of the home was depressing and Lisa smelt a faint sulfur type smell
in the kitchen. Jim as well had the smell and it followed him from one room to another giving the impression of a possible
demonic haunt. Great care was taken at this time and general questions were asked attempting to be a neutral as possible given
the experiences the team has had thus far.
The investigation ended at approx.
0400 and many pictures and video evidence was obtained to include EVP evidence. During the review only one possible picture
was obtained and no video evidence was gathered. CAPT did get many EVP”s which will be posted soon and the EVP's point
towards a very intelligent haunt with a female, male, and another entity present, further evidence will be needed to determine
the validity of these EVP's and a third investigation is scheduled.
STATUS: Open pending further investigations
FINAL CASE DETREMINATION: Haunted
pending further validation
