Investigation Details:
Stated
activity was as follows: Shadow figure Voices Noises to include foot
steps and things falling down stairs Feeling of dread in the home Things being moved and or thrown
The homes history was obtained from the deed
and from others in the community as most historical documents were lost by the county. The home was built in 1890 and was
one of the first built in the new city of Carroll when Carroll moved from the original location of Carrollton. The original
owner was said to have died in the home of unknown causes and that he is the entity that remains there. Over the years the
home sold and others have reported similar events in the past consistent with the reports made to CAPT. CAPT went into this investigation knowing the area and the home. We set up equipment
at 2100 and had a brief meeting to discuss strategy and safety issues then went lights out at approx 2130. The home was covered
by groups of two and the teams split with one on the main floor and one in the basement and then both groups investigated
the second floor of the home. CAPT covered this
home in the span of about 6 hours and had taken many pictures and obtained many hours of video and voice recordings all of
which netted only one possible picture that is posted below. This picture was enlarged to better see the anomaly captured. The picture is of an anomaly with a solid light and body
moving in an upward arch next to Chris, CAPT'S Founder, while in the basement. The windows were checked for drafts and
none were detected. The area was checked for semi-cleanliness and was found to be mostly clean and free of floating dust as
were the cameras lenses being clean as well. CAPT
captured no video or EVP to report during the investigation. The investigation was concluded at approx. 0430 am. STATUS: Open pending further investigation. FINAL CASE DETERMINATION: This
decision is pending further investigation.
